At the heart of EA²GLE is our commitment to academic and scientific excellence. We seek to attract talented students from France and abroad and to involve outstanding academics, researchers and industrial experts in our programmes. Beyond technical expertise, we want our students to develop the creativity, scientific curiosity, critical thinking and interdisciplinary approach required to address the complex challenges of tomorrow’s mobility.
Our ambition is clear: to establish EA²GLE as the French National Center of Excellence in Electromobility and to develop it into an internationally recognised Graduate School for education, research and innovation in the electrification of transport.
Whether you are a student seeking a Master’s, Engineering or PhD degree, a researcher wishing to develop new collaborations, or an industrial partner looking for new skills and innovative solutions, EA²GLE is a place to learn, collaborate, innovate and prepare the future of mobility.
We warmly invite you to discover our programmes, our research environment and our community and to join us in shaping the next generation of sustainable air and ground transportation !
Welcome to EA²GLE !

Founded in 2025, EA²GLE brings together universities, engineering schools, research laboratories and industrial partners across the Greater Toulouse Metropolitan Area around a common ambition: to educate and train the next generation of engineers, researchers and experts who will shape the future of sustainable mobility.
EA²GLE offers a comprehensive educational pathway encompassing Master’s degrees, Engineering degrees and PhD programmes in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, with a strong focus on the electrification of aeronautical and automotive transport.
The transition towards more sustainable mobility is profoundly transforming the transport sector. Electrification, together with other complementary solutions, is creating major scientific and technological challenges in electrical energy conversion, power electronics, electrical machines, embedded systems, energy storage, electrical architectures, thermal management and eco-design. Addressing these challenges requires highly qualified engineers and researchers capable of combining strong scientific foundations with a comprehensive understanding of complex systems.
Our mission is therefore not only to educate more students, but also to contribute to the continuing education of engineers and professionals already working in industry. By bringing education, research and industry closer together, EA²GLE aims to create a unique environment where fundamental knowledge, technological innovation and industrial challenges continuously enrich one another.
Toulouse provides an exceptional ecosystem in which to pursue this ambition. Internationally recognised for aeronautics and space and supported by a strong automotive, electronics and electrical engineering community, the region brings together leading universities, engineering schools, research laboratories and industrial companies. EA²GLE builds on this ecosystem to offer its students direct exposure to both cutting-edge research and real-world industrial challenges.
